I’m Kate, certified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, Spin Instructor, TRX, Barre… basically I love to learn how to move better and have fun while doing it.

After 10 years in the Wine Industry, I decided to stay home and raise our two young sons. I found the joy of bonding with other amazing people through group fitness a “must” to balance the rigors and chaos of raising kids. After years of enjoying every kind of fitness class I fell in love with teaching and furthering my education of movement, strength and health through Pilates, Spin, Barre and Yoga.

While some Pilates instructors pursue a single path of education, one master trainer, I knew I wanted to hear from many voices. Every instructor and Master Trainer has a difference “voice” and sees the body and the method in different ways. I have meticulously sought out each and every Master Trainer I worked with along my own journey to balance my approach. While I am certified through BalancedBody, I have trained with:

Meet Fin

Fin is my Cavalier King Charlies Spaniel and spends his days in the studio with me, and soon with you!

He loves kisses and cuddles and has never met a stranger, only “future friends”. He loves to greet everyone as they come and go but your workout is exhausting and don't blame him if he sleeps through it on his bed.

Fin is in the studio because he’s spoiled rotten but also because:

Research has shown that simply petting a dog lowers the stress hormone cortisol, while the social interaction between people and a dog actually increases levels of the feel-good hormone oxytocin.

He is literally here for your health.
